A Bit About Cotton Top!
Update! At the SC State Fair Donkey and Mule Show, Cotton Top earned his Excellence in Halter. We have been enjoying him so much and can't wait to meet his first foals in the Spring of 2025.
We are extremely excited to welcome Farmstead’s Cotton Top Mounts to the family! When he is mature enough, he will be our red micro herd sire!
I met Cotton Top, at the 2022 Music City Show, and absolutely fell in love. The 2023 Music City show was my second time meeting him. While talking with Dennis, I shared that I just adored him and would love to own him. Well… I don’t think I ever believed that it would actually become a reality!
Cotton Top is a son of Frontier Legend’s Cinna, who is a multi-NMDA and ADMS National Champion/Best of Breed winner. His sire is Farmstead's Henry Knox, who is now owned by Malakai Miniature Donkeys in Victoria, Australia. His grand sire, WLDF Tin Roof Sunday, is a 4 time ACOSA National Champion Jack, NMDA National Champion Jack, and he was Best of Breed at 2 years old. Cotton Top’s Grand Dam is Country Music’s Eli Barsi, who has been Produce of Dam winner at both of the past two Music City Shows and has had 8 champion foals, as well as being NMDA Reserve National Champion herself!
Cotton Top is an absolute sweetheart and we are so extremely grateful to be adding his color, temperament, beautiful conformation, and pedigree to our herd. Thank you so much Dennis, of Appalachian Farmstead, for allowing us to bring this amazing little man home. Your farm is absolutely beautiful
