Yes... we are calling this girl three different names! Boo, Booze, or Boozle definitely showed up with a bang! With the South Carolina show this weekend, we decided that, since Ember (Boo's dam) was getting closer to her one year mark, we would drop her off at Dayle and Joe Haworth's. Dayle is going to the show with us but Joe was very kind to offer to watch Ember. We dropped Ember of at their house, on 10/14, with a smaller and soft bag. Joe said that her bag felt the same way this morning. I did not think she would foal because she just did not seem close enough. Well, I received a call from Dayle saying "we're having a baby." We joke with each other all the time so, of course, I did not believe her. She told me that she wasn't lying and to check the cameras. I see Ember laying down and her water had broke... so we jumped in the truck and headed on over! So because of the these two completely fooling and surprising us... we decided to name this little girl Bamboozle.​

Boo is a half sister to our retained jennet, SAMD Lovely Lady May. Mayzie is a micro jennet and there is a high possibility that Boo is too. Although tiny, Mayzie has kept up with the big donks in performance classes. Mayzie is also a donkey that just about anyone can walk over obstacles. If Boo is anything like Mayzie, she will make many people happy.

Boo is definitely a stand out jennet. She has extremely minimal tyger spotting. One side of her face is completely white and the other only has a spot around her eye. She has some spotting down her spine, on her hocks, tips of her ears, and just a couple tiny spots on her side. It is too hard to tell what color her spots are. Her dam and half sister were both born a similar color and became black. I would not be surprised if Boo's spots also became black. But color is not the only thing about her... Boo's gums are also aligned perfectly and she has amazing legs.

As much as we already adore Boo... due to owning both her dam and her half sister, Boo will is available. She will be weaned around the end of March, 2025​
